Landscape architecture, garden design, planting design and management - Rowland Byass
Milner Place

This mature town house garden in Islington had been allowed to get out of hand and required rationalising for easier management.

The central lawn was redesigned into a more satisfying form, contained with metal edging to make maintenance easier. Most of the existing planting along the borders was kept, preserving the garden’s mature character. Clipped box balls, strategically placed to direct the eye along the garden, punctuate the space.
